Directions and Parking for Museum
The Tucson Museum of Art's offiical address is 140 North Main Avenue. It encompasses a full city block bounded by West Alameda, North Main Ave, West Washington, and North Meyer in the historic El Presidio neighborhood located in the heart of downtown Tucson.
Parking Information:
Mondays at the Museum Seminars - March 8, 22 and 22, 3:00 – 4:30 pm
Free parking is available on a limited basis in the Museum’s lot off Washington Avenue. There are also metered street parking and metered spaces in the lot off Paseo Redondo and Main Avenue (PLEASE do not park in non-metered spaces in the Paseo Redodo lot – you will be ticketed).CRUSH pARTy ‘Under the Stars' - Friday April 9, 2010
Parking is available in thelot off Paseo Redondo and Main Avenue or on the street at metered spaces (meters are free after 5:00 pm). There is also a large pay lot ($5) at Court and Franklin across from El Charro.
Please note: The Museum lot on Washington is reserved Friday night for handicapped and VIP parking ONLY.
Directions from the East: Follow Speedway west to the traffic light at Stone Avenue and turn left. Follow Stone south towards downtown. At the second traffic light after the railroad bridge, take a right onto Alameda. Go through the traffic light at Church Avenue and take the second right onto Main Avenue. The Museum entrance is on your right in the first block.Directions from the Northwest: Follow Oracle (State Route 77) south past Drachman (where it becomes Main) and Speedway across the railroad tracks and take a left at the next traffic light (St. Mary's Road). Take the very first right onto Main Avenue. Follow Main Ave. past the stop sign to the main entrance to the Museum on your left before you reach Alameda.
Directions from eastbound Interstate 10: Take the Speedway/St Mary’s Exit 257, stay in the right lanes to continue straight to St Mary’s thru the Speedway intersection. Make a left on St Mary’s. Just past the signal at Granada, take your first right on Main Avenue and continue south past the stop sign to the Museum main entrance to the Museum on your left before Alameda.
Directions from westbound Interstate 10: Take Exit 258 Congress/St Mary’s and move to the right to make a right on Congress. Make a left on Granada, a right on Alameda and a left on Main – the Museum entrance is on your right in the first block.
Directions from Interstate 19: Take the Congress/St Mary’s Exit #258 and move right to turn right on Congress. At Granada, turn left; then right on Alameda and left on Main – the main entrance to the Museum will be on your right in the first block.
