There are a number of family programs offered throughout the year that are designed to bring the understanding and enjoyment of art to children and their adult companions. From special classes and weekend workshops at the Tucson Museum of Art School to the monthly Picture This! Art Sunday series, family programs help connect art to life.
Picture This! Art Sunday : Learn about art and create your own masterpiece. Especially for children 6 - 12 years and their adult companions, this free program is designed to bring current exhibitions to life through tours and hands-on projects. Offered in conjunction with free admission days on the first Sunday of the month, Picture This! Art Sunday is held 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Check the calendar for specific subjects.
