The Tucson Museum of Art offers lectures, art talks, and panel discussions to help enhance the appreciation of art through education, and enlightenment of the artistic process. See the calendar for scheduled topics and artists.

Special Artist Lectures and Gallery Tours : Meet the artists featured in current exhibitions as they present slide lectures or gallery tours about their work. These special "Meet the Artist" programs are scheduled throughout the year.

Art Talks : Learn about artists, their work, and themes in art in weekly free, slide-illustrated art talks offered by the Tucson Museum of Art Docent Council. The talks are presented every Thursday afternoon at 1:30, November through March, in the museum's Education Center Auditorium.

Community Art Talks : Bring the world of art to your community group. The Tucson Museum of Art Docent Council offers free art talks to community groups in the greater Tucson area. Groups must have a minimum of fifteen participants and be scheduled three weeks in advance by calling the Education Center hotline at 520-696-7450.
