The Tucson Museum of Art has an established history of presenting programs that foster a meaningful examination of visual art, history and culture of the Southwest and worldwide, from ancient times to the present. Adult programs are designed to engage all community members in conversations, lectures, gallery tours and other experiences that provide an interdisciplinary and multi-dimensional perspective of the permanent collection and special exhibitions.
Through such programs, audiences engage with a diverse selection of artists, performers, curators, scholars, authors and critics, and participate in activities that encourage life-long learning. All programs are designed to pique curiosity and stimulate creativity, nurture learning and understanding, and enhance the appreciation and enjoyment of art.
