RULES AND REGULATIONS

The Grand Prize drawing for the 2015 Dream Raffle (herein referred to as “Raffle”) will be held March 11, 2015 at 5:00pm at the Tucson Museum of Art (TMA). Tickets will not be sold past midnight, March 8, 2015; however, tickets may sell out before this time. You do not have to be present to win.

More than one name may be entered on the ticket to indicate that any prize won is to be shared. Only the names provided on the ticket will be eligible to receive prizes. Entries by mail or in person will be accepted at 140 N. Main Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701 and must include payment by cash, check or credit card to be eligible. You may also call (520) 624-2333 or fax (520) 624-7202, with your VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express number and expiration date to purchase a ticket. Or you may complete your ticket purchase online at www.TucsonMuseumofArt.org/Events/Dream-Raffle . You may purchase as many available tickets as you wish.  All sales transactions are final. No payments will be refunded. The Tucson Museum of Art reserves the right to reject any entry form that is submitted with payment that does not constitute “good funds.” The Tucson Museum of Art assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected or non-delivered mail.

Only 20,000 tickets will be sold at two price points: single tickets for $150 and 3-packs for $375 (only 500 multi-pack tickets are available).

Drawing dates are:

  • Early Bird Drawings: – October 20, 2014 (Entry deadline October 19 at 5:00 pm), December 15, 2014 (Entry deadline December 14, 2014 at 5:00 pm), and February, 16 2015 (Entry deadline is February 15, 2015 at 5:00 pm).
  • Final Drawing – March 11, 2015 at 5:00 pm (Entry deadline March 8, 2015 at midnight).

After the Early Bird Drawings, the three winner’s entry tickets will be returned to the raffle bin for the subsequent Final Drawing.

A minimum of 7,000 tickets must be sold for the Grand Prize winner to have the choice of the $400,000 cash option or the $500,000 buyer’s credit with Max Builders LLC. If fewer than 7,000 tickets are sold by midnight on March 8, 2015, the “Raffle” will be held as scheduled and all prizes will be awarded as advertised with the exception that the Grand Prize winner will receive a 50% share of the net “Raffle” proceeds. Net “Raffle” proceeds are defined as the balance of funds left after paying all “Raffle” expenses. Net proceeds will be divided evenly between the Grand prize winner, less appropriate required federal taxes and the Tucson Museum of Art.

If 7,000 tickets or more are sold, the winner will have the choice of receiving the $400,000 cash option or the $500,000 buyer’s credit with Max Builders LLC. The Grand Prize winner must make their election in writing before 12:00 pm on April 10, 2015. If the grand prize winner fails to make the election by this deadline, he or she will be deemed to have elected the cash option.

Early Bird Drawing 2 – Prize: Waikiki Beach Vacation valued at $9,596 or $3,000

Early Bird “Last Chance” Drawing 3 – Prize:  Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa at the Westin La Paloma, Red Door Spa Package valued at over $2,000.

First Prize – Tokyo Metropolis valued at $18,020 or $5,500 cash. 6-Night Stay at Hyatt Regency Tokyo, Japan.This package includes round-trip coach class service for two from any major metropolitan airport in the 48 contiguous United States.  

Second  Prize – Ultimate Escape to Maui or Kauai valued at $10,776 or $4,000 cash. Ultimate Escape to Maui or Kauai

Fourth Prize – Samuel Adams Brewery Tour in Boston valued at $5,715 or $2,400 cash.

Fifth Prize – Miraval Arizona Resort and Spa 3-night, all inclusive stay for two, valued at $4,000.

Sixth Prize – Disneyland Family Adventure valued $5,435 or $2,000 cash. By entering this “Raffle,” entrants accept and agree: to be bound by these rules, limitations and restrictions and by the decisions of the Tucson Museum of Art; and their names and likenesses may be disclosed to and used by the news media and may otherwise be used by the Tucson Museum of Art for publicity purposes. Anyone 21 years of age or older may enter, excluding employees of the Tucson Museum of Art, their spouses, or dependents. Purchaser must be present in the state of Arizona at the time of purchase. It is not necessary to be a resident of the state of Arizona, but one must be physically present in Arizona at the time of entry purchase. You can purchase your tickets online, but you must be in Arizona, when you make the transaction. An affidavit of eligibility may be required from the prize winner. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar drawings for valuable prizes are not gifts, and therefore do not qualify as deductible charitable contributions. The chances of winning are based on 7,000 tickets sold. If fewer tickets are sold, the odds of winning the grand and other prizes increase. Offer void where prohibited by law.
