A year long series dedicated to exhibiting the works of six artists of Latino/a and Chicano/a heritage, who currently work and live in the southwestern United States.
This Sonoran born artist graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Arizona and now lives in the L.A. area. She is a museum art instructor who has won numerous awards on both sides of the border. Her work maps out a personal discourse that explores time, culture and environment. A figurative painter, she employs the figure and the expressions of dance to form a metaphor representing the transformation and powers associated with women.
