Western American Art Patrons (WAAP) is a support organization for the Art of the American West at the Tucson Museum of Art. Through lectures, guided tours and trips, salons, workshops, and other events, its purpose is to enhance members' understanding of the history, art, and culture that make up the American West. While a part of American art, Art of the American West incorporates European artistic traditions in expressing the unique history and landscape of the western United States as well as Native American cultures as both subject and artist.
