These community partnerships build long-term relationships that extend beyond a field trip or single visit to the museum. Since 2010, TMA has worked with organizations serving immigrant and refugee audiences in Tucson. This program began with a single partner, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/owlandpanther\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">B\u00faho y pantera<\/a>, with the purpose of developing a series of expressive arts workshops. One of these partnerships is with Davis Bilingual Elementary, which began in 2009. These students visit every Wednesday afternoon throughout the school year.\u00a0 Since 2012, students from Imago Dei Middle School enjoy arts activities on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cap\u00edtulo del suroeste del desierto de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Alzheimer<\/a> since 2007 for the museum\u2019s <strong>arte de la memoria<\/strong>. This program is designed for people with early to mid-stages of dementia and their care givers.
