On the first Thursday of every month the Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block offers extended hours and pay-what-you-wish admission from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. These evenings feature emerging and established food vendors, unique art-making and gallery experiences, music, community partners and more!<\/p>\n

On March\u2019s First Thursday explore Divergence of Legacy: Art of the American West in the 21st Century<\/em><\/a> and diverse stories found throughout the museum. Purchase food from Sushi Hana<\/a>, enjoy a cash bar serving beer and wine, music by DACTYLS<\/a>, and art and gallery activities led by ami<\/a> y Laila<\/a> focused on color and landscape.<\/p>\n

Through early 2025, TMA will host the Mexican American Heritage and History Museum<\/a>\u2019s monthly history social during First Thursdays while the Sosa-Carrillo House<\/a> is closed for remodel. During the program, Mauro Trejo IV, Los Descendientes board member and MexAm Museum volunteer will share insights on various aspects of Tucson\u2019s history. This 30-minute program (registrar aqu\u00ed<\/a>) will spotlight aspects of Tucson\u2019s history and create space for community dialogue.<\/p>\n

El primer jueves de cada mes, el Museo de Arte y Bloque Hist\u00f3rico de Tucson ofrece horarios extendidos y entrada de pago-lo-que-desea desde las 5 p. m. hasta las 8 p.m. \u00a1Estas noches cuentan con vendedores de comida, experiencias \u00fanicas de creaci\u00f3n de arte y galer\u00edas, y m\u00fasica! Durante el primer jueves de marzo explora Divergencia del Legado: Arte del Oeste Americano en el Siglo XXI<\/em><\/a> y diversas historias que se encuentran en todo el museo.<\/p>\n

Hasta principios de 2025, TMA albergar\u00e1 la reuni\u00f3n social de historia mensual del Museo de Historia y Patrimonio Mexicano-Americano<\/a> durante los primeros jueves mientras la Casa Sosa-Carrillo<\/a> est\u00e9 cerrada por remodelaci\u00f3n. Durante el programa, Mauro Trejo IV, miembro de la junta directiva de Los Descendientes y voluntario del Museo MexAm compartir\u00e1 ideas sobre varios aspectos de la historia de Tucson.
