During 2025, TMA will host the Mexican American Heritage and History Museum<\/a>\u2019s monthly history socials while the Sosa-Carrillo House<\/a> is closed for remodel. The free talks were started and continue to be given by Trejo\u2019s Tucson Walking Tours, during the program Mauro Trejo IV, Los Descendientes board member and MexAm Museum volunteer, will share insights on various aspects of Tucson\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

These History Socials celebrate the rich history and diverse culture of Tucson and the surrounding region and will form part of a year-long celebration honoring over 4,000 years of history, heritage, and culture in Tucson and Pima County. This milestone commemorates the 250th anniversary of Presidio San Agust\u00edn del Tucson, learn more about the celebration aqu\u00ed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

History Social is held in the Kimball Community Room in the Alice Chaiten Baker Center for Art Education.<\/p>\n

Durante 2025, TMA albergar\u00e1 la reuni\u00f3n social de historia mensual del Museo de Historia y Patrimonio Mexicano-Americano<\/a> mientras la Casa Sosa-Carrillo<\/a> est\u00e9 cerrada por remodelaci\u00f3n. Las charlas gratuitas fueron iniciadas y contin\u00faan siendo impartidas por Trejo\u2019s Tucson Walking Tours, durante el programa, Mauro Trejo IV, miembro de la junta directiva de Los Descendientes y voluntario del Museo MexAm compartir\u00e1 ideas sobre varios aspectos de la historia de Tucson.<\/p>\n

Estas reuniones sociales de historia celebran la rica historia y la diversa cultura de Tucson y la regi\u00f3n circundante, y formar\u00e1n parte de una celebraci\u00f3n anual que honra m\u00e1s de 4,000 a\u00f1os de historia, patrimonio y cultura en Tucson y el Condado de Pima.
