On the first Thursday of every month the Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block offers extended hours and pay-what-you-wish admission from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Join us on October 2nd for an evening filled with gallery activities and art-making to get to know TMA better, food for purchase from a local vendor, and live music by Asphalt Astronaut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Through 2025, TMA will host the Mexican American Heritage and History Museum\u2019s<\/a> monthly history social during First Thursdays while the Sosa-Carrillo House<\/a> is closed for remodel. During the program, Mauro Trejo IV, Los Descendientes board member and MexAm Museum volunteer will share insights on various aspects of Tucson\u2019s history (registrar aqu\u00ed<\/a>). October\u2019s topic will be Why is it called that?\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>A History of some place names in Tucson<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

El primer jueves de cada mes, el Museo de Arte de Tucson y Bloque Hist\u00f3rico ofrece horarios extendidos y entrada de pago-lo-que-desea desde las 5 p. m. hasta las 8 p.m. \u00danete a nosotros el 2 de octubre para una noche llena de actividades de galer\u00eda y creaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica para conocer mejor a TMA, comida de compra de un vendedor local y m\u00fasica en vivo de Asphalt Astronaut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Durante 2025, TMA albergar\u00e1 la reuni\u00f3n social de historia mensual del\u00a0Museo de Historia y Patrimonio Mexicano-Americano<\/a>\u00a0durante los primeros jueves mientras la\u00a0Casa Sosa-Carrillo<\/a>\u00a0est\u00e9 cerrada por remodelaci\u00f3n. Durante el programa, Mauro Trejo IV, miembro de la junta directiva de Los Descendientes y voluntario del Museo MexAm compartir\u00e1 ideas sobre varios aspectos de la historia de Tucson (reg\u00edstrate aqu\u00ed<\/a>).
