February Free First Thursday! Noble, Proud, Wise, Lordly: Art of the Jaguar

This month, inspired by Noble, Proud, Wise, Lordly: Art of the Jaguar on view in the Jon and Linda Ender Gallery, observe the images of jaguars on view here and in other locations throughout the museum, consider not only the animal’s symbolic associations but also its role in the local Sonoran Desert environment today.

Art and gallery activities, led by Ami Dalal and Laila Halaby, will explore jaguars’ associations and attributions through “Counting Jaguars”.

The evening will also feature music by Dos Sueños from 6-7pm and a cash bar serving beer and wine.

Free First Thursday is presented by an anonymous donor.

*Limited tickets available. Reserve online two weeks before the event. Free First Thursday will take place indoors and outdoors and follow all TMA COVID-19 protocols.
