SUMMARY:The Future of Arizona Wine | El futuro del vino de Arizona
DESCRIPTION:An immersive seminar and seated\, guided wine tasting that will explore the burgeoning winemaking practices and everyday challenges facing the Arizona wine industry from an environmental\, social\, and cultural standpoint. Moderated by Arielle DeSoucey from Civil Wines. \nTickets include a tasting of ten locally produced Arizona wines\, snacks\, and an opportunity to meet the winemakers at a reception following the presentation. Wines will be available for purchase after the event. \nWinemaker in Attendance: \n\nQueen of Cups – Emmett Rahn Oakes & Lily Christopher\nMeading Room – Kylie Daniels\nVinostache – Torri Feutz\nSubversa – Rob Easter\nCallaghan Vineyards – Kent Callaghan\nSonoran Wines – Lisa Wagenheim\nBodega Pierce- Michael Pierce\nCactus Cru – Timo Geis\n\n7-8 p.m. – Reception- Each guest will receive a ticket for 1 complimentary\, 4oz pour of wine*. Bottles from the tasting will be available for purchase during this time. \n*Sand-Reckoner Sangiovese and Chateau Tumbleweed White will be the options during the reception \nAccessibility \nUpon request\, American Sign Language interpretation for lectures can be provided.
