TMA’s extensive programming connects art to life through meaningful and engaging experiences that inspire discovery, spark creativity, and promote cultural understanding. We serve over 70,000 visitors from across the country every year, care for nearly 12,000 art objects in our permanent collection, welcome 7,000 K-12 students who experience art making and gallery tours annually, and join with dozens of community partners to offer arts programming to a diverse group of individuals. TMA’s growing collection includes nearly 12,000 works of art which span 3,000 years of history. The museum focuses on acquiring the most relevant examples within its core collecting areas, including Art of the American West, Contemporary Art, Indigenous Art, Latin American Art, and Modern Art. In addition, the museum is the steward of Asian art, Decorative Arts, and European Art.

PLANNED GIVING

If you’d like to support TMA even after your lifetime, consider a planned gift.
