Experience the Museum after hours for TMA NightShift, featuring everything from art exhibitions, live performances, and dancing, to food, art-making, and more. No two nights are the same.
Courtyard Cinema at TMA
Not your average movie night. Experience films inspired by art and current exhibitions in the historic Casa Cordova courtyard. Bring your friends, grab a drink or some local food, and enjoy movie night under the stars.
Live Music in the TMA Galleries
Wander through TMA’s galleries while enjoying live music from Tucson’s vibrant music scene. From classical to contemporary, performances take place select Fridays and Saturdays this winter from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and are free with museum admission.
Wellness Wednesday
Pause. Breathe. Reconnect. Wellness Wednesday is a monthly opportunity to restore, reflect, and connect through mindful experiences in the Museum. Each session, held from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month, features a mix of gentle stretching, breathwork, mindful movement, journaling, sound experiences, and guided discussion designed to help you reconnect with yourself and the world around you.
Family Day at TMA
Bring the whole family to TMA for one-of-a-kind arts experiences shaped for all ages. Every second Sunday of the month from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Family Day at TMA features a variety of art-making activities led by local artists, family-friendly gallery activities, and live performances. Explore, create, and connect while making lasting memories! Activities are free with admission.
TMA Tots
Big imaginations start here. TMA Tots offers a fun and engaging Museum experience through playful learning activities designed for toddlers ages 2 – 5 and their caregivers! In partnership with Wonder Doodle Collective. TMA Tots is held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Docent Art Talks
Discover the people, history, and ideas that shaped some of the world’s most influential artists during engaging talks led by TMA Docents. Each month explores a different artist or theme, making every lecture a new opportunity to connect art to life. Held on the second Sunday of each month from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
MOCA X TMA Art Talks
Two museums. One conversation. This new collaborative series from the Museum of Contemporary Art Tucson and the Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block convenes artists from current exhibitions with members of Tucson’s creative community. Held once each season from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., MOCA X TMA Art Talks explore artist’s practices and the common ground that connect local perspectives with broader conversations in contemporary art.
