From the East

Directions from the East: Follow Speedway west to the traffic light at Stone Avenue and turn left. Follow Stone south towards downtown. At the second traffic light after the railroad bridge, take a right onto Alameda. Go through the traffic light at Church Avenue and take the second right onto Main Avenue. Take the next right onto Washington Street (next to the fire hydrant) for the parking lot.

From the Northwest

Directions from the Northwest: Follow Oracle (State Route 77) south, bearing right at the traffic light at Drachman. Continue just past Speedway and cross the railroad tracks. Take a left at the next traffic light (St. Mary’s Road). Take the next right onto Main Avenue (there is a small street sign that says El Presidio). Follow Main Avenue past the stop sign and take the next left onto Washington Street (next to the fire hydrant) for the parking lot.

From Eastbound Interstate 10

Directions from Eastbound Interstate 10: Take the Broadway/Congress Street exit. At the end of the exit ramp take a left onto Congress. Follow Congress to the first traffic light after the freeway and take a left onto Granada. Take the first right onto Alameda and then left onto Main Avenue. Take the next right onto Washington Street (next to the fire hydrant) for the parking lot.

From Westbound Interstate 10

Directions from westbound Interstate 10: Take the Broadway/Congress exit. At the end of the exit ramp take a right onto Congress. At the next traffic light take a left on Granada. Take the first right onto Alameda and then left onto Main Avenue. Take the next right onto Washington Street (next to the fire hydrant) for the parking lot.

From Interstate 19

Directions from Interstate 19: Follow I-19 north onto I-10 westbound. Take the Broadway/Congress exit. At the end of the ramp take a right onto Congress. At the next traffic light take a left onto Granada. Take the first right onto Alameda and then left onto Main Avenue. Take the next right onto Washington Street (next to the fire hydrant) for the parking lot.

Where to park:

Free TMA parking lot: From Main Avenue turn east on Washington Street, then turn right into the lot. Accessible parking is available.
Metered street parking available around the Museum
El Presidio Parking Garage, 160 W. Alameda Street (south side of street, ramp descends to underground parking), closed on weekends. The Museum does not validate parking for this garage.

Public Transit

Sun Tran is the local bus company operating city buses around Tucson. There is a Sun Tran bus stop by the east entry of the Museum on Alameda Street. Routes 3, 81, 82, 83, 103 stop there.
