The Tucson Museum of Art is committed to helping all visitors enjoy its exhibitions and give an equal opportunity to experience the art on view.

Accessible Parking

There are accessible parking spaces in the free lot off Washington Street for vehicles displaying the appropriate permits. This parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wheelchairs

The museum offers accessible entrances, galleries, café, store, parking, elevators and restroom facilities. Please enter and exit through the east doors at 200 W. Alameda Street, as the Museum Store entrance at 140 N. Main Avenue is not accessible.

Sign Language

Sign language interpretation is available for any public program or arranged tour upon advanced request. For more information about accessibility please email the Education Department or call 520-624-2333 ext. 7121.

The Museum is accessible to all. Please email the Education Department, or call 520-624-2333 ext. 7121 to discuss sign-language interpretation, descriptive tours, and other opportunities for people with hearing and or vision loss.

Directions

From the accessible parking spaces in the museum’s parking lot off of Washington Street, head east, then turn right onto Meyer Avenue. Please use extra care on the historic flagstone sidewalk adjacent to La Casa Cordova (along Meyer Avenue), as the surface is uneven. Pass through the blue wall, then turn right again and you will be at the entrance to Margaret E. Mooney Hall (the main lobby).

To reach Café à la C’Art, pass through the gate from the west end of the Washington Street parking lot by the J. Knox Corbett House.

Please Note

The Museum Store entrance located at 140 N. Main Avenue does not accommodate wheelchair access. The only fully accessible entrance is located at 200 W. Alameda Street. It can be accessed from the Washington Street parking lot by way of Meyer Avenue.

The elevator to the Alice Chaiten Baker Center for Art Education is temporarily out of order. The building remains accessible through the entrance located on the south side of the building along Alameda, the door is labeled “166.” Please call 520-616-2692 for assistance.

Lectures and Public Programs
