Now more than ever the Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block is committed to connecting art to life through meaningful and engaging experiences that inspire discovery, spark creativity and promote cultural understanding. In accordance with city and county guidelines as well as the CDC, as of Wednesday, March 16, at the Tucson Museum of Art face masks are recommended but not required to visit the museum’s galleries. Mask are required for indoor programs where physical distancing is not lecture possible such as lectures.

This plan is based on available knowledge at time of publication and may change as information on the COVID-19 pandemic evolves. All recommendations have been determined in accordance with guidelines from the Arizona Department of Health Services, the Pima County Health Department, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the American Alliance of Museums (AAM).
