Blue Star Museums is a partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in collaboration with the Department of Defense and museums across America, offering free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve.
The 2025 program will begin on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 17, 2025, and run through Labor Day, September 1, 2025.
Use the code “BlueStar” at checkout to apply to your online tickets and show your military ID when you visit the Museum.
On the First Thursday evening (5-8 p.m.) and Second Sunday (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) of the month the museum does not charge standard admission and accepts donations for entrance.
Reserve a ticket online (one per cardholder) using the discount code TMABofA, then present your Bank of America/Merrill Lynch debit or credit card at the Admissions Desk to redeem your free admission. Museums on Us occurs during the first full weekend of each month.
