The Art of the Voice with Arizona Opera

  In this singular event, singers from Arizona Opera will guide you through the permanent galleries of the Tucson Museum of Art with the beauty and power of music. Featuring musical selections chosen specifically to comment and curate the artwork, visitors will follow performers on an abstract journey where art and music entwine. Performances are at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

Drawing from her own research on Renaissance horsemanship and on her own experiences as a rider, Professor Pia F. Cuneo (Art History Program, University of Arizona) will offer some insights into the history and culture of the horse and into the ways that this magnificent animal has been rendered in art throughout the centuries.
