On the first Thursday of the month the Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block offers extended hours and pay-what-you-wish admission from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. On July’s First Thursday stay out of the heat and reflect on work on view in the museum’s galleries and enjoy music by Jillian Bessett and Chris Callahan.
The evening will feature art and gallery activities, led by Ami and Laila. And from 6:00 – 7:30 pm a Death Cafe (register here) facilitated by Alice Vath and Cara Carrillo in the Patricia Morgan & Peter Salomon Sculpture Garden.
During First Thursdays TMA provides space for emerging and established food vendors throughout Arizona to offer pop-ups and encourage guests to support local businesses and foodie creatives. This month purchase Taiwanese style fried chicken from Herculean Chicken and confections from OKASHI, enjoy music entertainment, and a cash bar serving beer and wine.

El primer jueves de cada mes, el Museo de Arte de Tucson y Bloque Histórico ofrece horarios extendidos y entrada de paga-lo-que-desees desde las 5:00 pm hasta las 8:00 pm. En el primer jueves de julio manténgase alejado del calor y reflexione sobre las obras de arte a la vista en las galerías del museo y disfrute de la música de Jillian Bessett and Chris Callahan.
La noche contará con actividades de arte y galería, dirigidas por Ami y Laila. Y de 6:00 pm a 7:30 pm un Death Café (regístrese aquí) facilitado por Alice Vath y Cara Carrillo en el Jardín de Esculturas Patricia Morgan & Peter Salomon.
Durante los primeros jueves, TMA ofrece espacio para vendedores de comida emergentes y establecidos de Arizona para facilitar ventanas emergentes (pop-ups) y animar a los invitados a apoyar a los negocios locales y a los creativos amantes de la comida. Este mes compre pollo frito al estilo taiwanés de Herculean Chicken y confecciones de OKASHI, disfrute de entretenimiento musical y una barra de efectivo que sirve cerveza y vino.
