About Adult/College Tours

Schedule A Tour

The museum provides docent led tours for both adult groups and college students. These tours can be customized by specific exhibitions, collections, or topics. Docents can also provide a highlights tour that gives guests a brief taste of what the museum has to offer. Docent Tours normally last one hour. For additional information and questions, please contact the education department at education@tucsonmuseumofart.org. Tours are Wednesday through Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. weekly.

*Tours must be scheduled four weeks prior to desired tour date. On occasion we can accommodate tour requests with shorter notice, please call (520) 624-2333 ext. 7102, or email education@tucsonmuseumofart.org.

  • College Tours: $10 per student
  • Adults Tours: $15 Adults / $12 Seniors ages 65+

Upon request, American Sign Language interpretation for tours can be provided. Visitors can request this service up to two weeks before the date of the lecture. To request this service call Isaí Pacheco at ipacheco@tucsonmuseumofart.org or 520-616-2699.

Public Tours

Interested in getting a guided tour of the museum? The Tucson Museum of Art is now offering Public Tours on Wednesday through Sunday at 11:30 a.m. These guided experiences will be led by docents and will focus on the highlights of the museum’s collection. Tours will meet in the Mooney Lobby and are free with admission. For more information and if you would like to RSVP (not mandatory), contact the education department at education@tucsonmuseumofart.org.

Parking

Bus/Van parking is available at the corner of Telles Street and Meyer Avenue and directly in front of the Museum’s 140 N. Main Avenue entrance doors.
Free TMA parking lot: From Main Avenue turn east on Washington Street, then turn right into the lot. Accessible parking is available.

Metered street parking available around the Museum.

El Presidio Parking Garage, 160 W. Alameda Street (south side of street, ramp descends to underground parking), closed on weekends. The Museum does not validate parking for this garage.

Lunch
