Tucson Museum of Art celebrates Moderns at the Museum with TMA Gala 2022
Tucson, AZ – The Tucson Museum of Art (TMA) Board of Trustees presents the 15th annual TMA Gala on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. The all outdoor event will, Moderns at the Museum, will include an exhilarating evening of jazz music, delectable dining, a live auction, and fascinating performances.
“The annual TMA Gala provides essential support for the museum,” says Jeremy Mikolajczak, Jon and Linda Ender Director and CEO. “Each year the Board of Trustees, TMA members and friends of the museum come together to demonstrate, through their generosity, how much they value what TMA brings to the community. One night of celebration brings in funds for educational and community initiatives, and provides resources to exhibit and preserve the art collection held in trust for the public.”
“The inspiration for this year’s focus on Modern art of Southwest highlights a collection recently donated to TMA”, says Marilyn Joyce, Chair of the Gala. “The jazz, the special performances, and the menu will all celebrate the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s by spotlighting art, culture, and community to provide an exciting evening under the stars!”
TMA Gala 2022 includes:
Social Hour consisting of wine, hors d’oeuvres, music, and preview of selected auction items on the East Plaza Courtyard between Margaret E. Mooney Hall and the Alice Chaiten Baker Center for Art Education.
