The Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block’s collection of European Art includes works dating from the 15th through the late 20th centuries. This collection encompasses over 100 paintings, drawings, prints, and decorative arts, by European artists. In 2017, the museum announced a dedicated gallery to the European Art Collection, the Palice Gallery of European Art, located on the second floor of the museum.
Represented artists include: William-Adolphe Bouguereau, Honore Victorin Daumier, Andre Derain, Fernando Gallego, Francisco Jose de Goya y Lucientes, Marino Marini, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec among others.
TMA also curates selections from the internationally renowned Kasser Mochary Foundation, an important collection of art with an emphasis on European sculpture and painting of the 19th and 20th centuries. On long-term loan to the museum, the collection includes works by Alberto Giacometti, Jacques Lipschitz, Auguste Rodin, and Alfred Sisley among others.

Sunday 12:00 – 5:00 p.m.
The Museum is closed on Mondays. Free First Thursday of each month from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
