HONORARY GALA CHAIRS

Meet Anne and Jeffrey Gartner

The Tucson Museum of Art is fortunate to have the Gartners as dedicated supporters. They are active members of the Western Art Patrons (WAP) and advocates of artistic expressions that reveal the experiences and stories of the American West. Both committed volunteers of TMA and other organizations of Tucson, their noteworthy contributions reflect their passions for community service.

Anne, a retired U.S. Navy Captain in the Navy Nurse Corps and retired geologist for the US Geological Survey (Department of Interior) comes to the position of honorary co-chair with enthusiasm to generate interest in this form of art in connection to the region’s history. Jeff, a member of the Board of Trustees, Finance Committee, and Collections Committee chair is a retired Oceanographer for the US Geological Survey. He also looks forward to playing a role in this year’s Gala. Their combined knowledge and excitement for art of the American West provide unique perspectives and an expansion of ideas of what is On the Western Horizon.
