• Popol Vuh and the Maya Art of Storytelling

Popol Vuh is an important Maya story that narrates events that happened before the first sunrise. Today, communities recognize that it has much to teach us about creation, resilience, and relationships. This exhibition brings together works of art and stories connected to the Popol Vuh, including a newly commissioned work by artist Justin Favela and a portfolio by Guatemalan Modern artist Carlos Mérida.
